The representative is reminded that the commissions shown in the commission schedule you are about to link to is what is actually paid to you. This commission does not pass through the Brookstone commission grid but does count toward your production for payout on securities. For example: Suppose you receive an 85% payout for securities because you are in the 100K to 150K range. Let’s also suppose you have been placing 65K of fixed commissions through an MGA or IMO other than Huffman and Associates (Brookstone’s IMO). If you simply move your relationship from your current MGA or IMO to Huffman, you will receive a similar or greater payout on your fixed business PLUS move your pay scale on securities to 90% because Brookstone will add your 65K of fixed commissions to your 100k+ of securities commission. This will put you over 150K of total commission using the example above. At 150K and above, the payout grid for Brookstone is 90%.
You will make the same or more on your fixed commission and another $5,000 + on your securities business.
